Since 1997, the PCH Foundation has been proud to facilitate a youth board. The “Youth Who Care” (YWC), comprised of students from local high schools, has served as a mirror board to our own Board of Directors. This opportunity provides students with meaningful volunteer experience and is intended to help them better understand their hospital. YWC Directors believe in a bright future for youth as active contributors in society. Their vision of looking “towards tomorrow” demonstrates their willingness to take on the challenge and responsibility of building healthy and strong communities wherever life takes them. Being part of this group means you will engage in unique skill-building opportunities for young people, fostering a lifelong commitment to community service that extends well beyond our organization. Directors focus on five key goals: Health Promotion, Skill Development, Community Service, Voice of Youth, and Fundraising.
